The Challenge
To create a playful yet compelling brand identity for “ThinkMeat,” a SEO company aiming to distinguish itself from more traditional B2B competitors. The core objective was to develop a memorable brand, starting with the name itself, that conveyed intelligence and creativity in a highly unconventional way.
My Solution & Approach
I conceived the name “ThinkMeat” as a humorous play on “brain power.” Building on this, I designed a full brand identity that embraces this quirky concept. The visual language uses a brain-like pattern and a direct, almost literal interpretation of “meat” packaging for key touchpoints, ensuring the brand is unforgettable and sparks curiosity. The overall strategy was to be bold, witty, and entirely different from the expected corporate SEO aesthetic.
Key Elements
- Brand Naming: Developed the unique and memorable name “ThinkMeat” to encapsulate the core idea of intellectual prowess in a playful manner.
- Logo Design: Created a logo featuring a stylized head silhouette with the “ThinkMeat” name integrated within a brain illustration, alongside a distinctive, slightly gooey logotype.
- Unique Business Cards: Designed highly distinctive business cards mimicking pre-packaged meat, complete with a “nutrition label” for contact information and a “100% Guaranteed Fresh Ideas” stamp, to make in-person interactions exceptionally memorable.
- Collateral Concept (Mystery Meat Booklet): Conceptualized and designed a “Mystery Meat: Marketing Tips & Secrets” booklet, extending the brand’s playful voice and visual style into content marketing.
