Company & Role Overview

As the founder and Creative Technologist of tbd Design, my role was to translate high-level project strategy directly into hands-on technical execution. I established the company in 2016 to pursue innovative experiential work, personally leading projects from initial concept to final delivery. This involved everything from managing client relationships and developing operational processes to hands-on programming and system design, ensuring that every project, whether a data-driven marketing campaign or a complex museum installation, was built on a foundation of sound strategy and robust technology.

Key Responsibilities & Contributions

Founder & Operations Lead: Established and managed all company operations, including developing structured client management workflows (from initial proposal to final reporting) and overseeing vendor and collaborator relationships to ensure high-quality execution.
Experiential Development Lead: Led the end-to-end creation of the “Reflections on Georgia Voting” interactive exhibit for the Georgia State Capitol Museum, from concept and technical design in TouchDesigner to on-site installation and programming.
Technical & Logistical Problem-Solving: Successfully navigated significant logistical challenges for the GCM exhibit, including collaborating with the Georgia Building Association to meet strict aesthetic requirements and engineering robust solutions for power and network limitations within the historic building.
Strategic Digital Marketing: Directed and executed comprehensive digital marketing and web development projects, leveraging data analysis (R) and strategic insights to drive results like increased web traffic and lead generation for clients like North Georgia Timber.
Agency Consulting: Served as a technical consultant for creative agencies, providing crucial feasibility analysis on experiential concepts and helping to ground ambitious creative ideas in practical, executable technology.

Highlighted Achievements & Impact

Landmark Museum Installation: Delivered a landmark interactive exhibit for the Georgia State Capitol, celebrated by the commissioning senator as “the first of its kind” in the museum. The installation was successfully unveiled at the 35th annual state MLK commemoration and remains a reliable, engaging fixture for visitors.
Successful Creative Collaboration: Fostered a successful creative collective, enabling collaborations on high-concept projects like the Portal Hotel by serving as the key technical asset to bring ambitious artistic visions to life.
Process-Driven Success: Developed and implemented a scalable, repeatable process for client service and project management, ensuring consistent quality, clear communication, and measurable results across all engagements.
