North Georgia Timber (NGT), a timber management and harvesting company, sought to significantly enhance its online presence, generate qualified leads, and drive traffic to its services and Woodyard locations. The goal was to establish a robust digital footprint that would translate into measurable business growth.

My Solution & Approach
Since 2017, through my company tbd Design, I’ve partnered with NGT to develop and execute a multi-faceted digital marketing strategy. This began with creating their professional website on WordPress, designed to clearly communicate their services and expertise. A key component was implementing a lead generation system featuring downloadable checklists (e.g., “Selling Your Timber Checklist,” designed using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign) on dedicated landing pages. These leads were then nurtured through targeted email campaigns managed via Constant Contact.
To optimize their online advertising, I conducted in-depth keyword research (analyzing over 600 terms) and used R (ggplot2) to visualize data on search volume, competition, and cost. This identified strategic opportunities, particularly in “Biomass” and “Timber Harvesting,” guiding the Google Ads campaigns. I also established and managed their Google Business Profile, further boosting local visibility.

- Significant Business Growth: NGT has experienced increased web traffic, a notable rise in customer inquiries, and increased foot traffic to their Woodyard locations, contributing to the opening of a second Woodyard.
